Congratulations to the scout Troop for coming 4th in the 2017 District Marksman Competition, which took place at Lees Wood on the 30th of June and to one Scout in particular, Shahzada, who came 1st overall in the Under twelve and a halves competition in both shooting and archery!
On Saturday the 14th of May the scouts attended the annual district push cart challenge held at Lees Wood campsite. The weather was thankfully kind and our team came 2nd. Well done scouts! Many thanks to all those who helped to stage this exciting event.
At the beginning of October 3 scouts went along to Lees Wood to run a base for the district cubs Night X event.

A big thank you to all the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts that went along to Morrisons and Tesco to raise money for the group by singing some Christmas carols. Thankfully it was a bit milder than last year so there were fewer red noses at the end of the night. In total we raised a whopping £367.01. Merry Christmas!
